Neither do we. But Florida couldn't beat our worst team since Spurrier got here in their own house last year. I'm not saying Florida can't beat us, I just don't get how you can predict a win. Tossup? Sure. Can't argue it.

You do remember that UF literally gave that game away right?

That game by itself sums up the Muschamp era.

I just have a feeling Kentucky playing first SEC game at night they will pull it out but I also think that wakes Gators up the next week and we beat the Vols at Home.

Honestly it could be a 10 win season. Or it could be a 6-6 season, depending in what the new HC does. If the new QB turns out well, and y'all get a halfway decent running game going, y'all could beat most of these teams.
SC is going to be lucky to get 7 wins.
Toughest games are at LSU, at Mizzou, UGA in Jax. I think y'all lose one or two of those three. FSU won't be what they have been recently.
Tenn finally breaks the streak. But UF wins the East 9-3.

You do know that we gave up 3 games prior to that, and Florida couldn't do what Mizzou, Kentucky, and Tennessee could?

Take your excuses elsewhere. We blew 14-21 point leads in the 4th quarter all season long and STILL you couldn't beat us in the Swamp.

Well congratufrickinglations. You want a cookie for beating a team that herp derped itself away a victory?

Of course, I should be thankful that South Carolina somehow won that game to end the Muschampionships era.

How's your kicker? Because I have a feeling the OM game will be very low scoring for both teams

So I use your own argument against you and this what you come back with? I literally only said that our game will be a tossup, and you're all pissy.

Our entire season is going to be determined by 2 things.
Qb play, and O line play. And no one knows how well or how bad they're going to be.

Same story for Florida for the past since 5 years 2010... The defense will be good. The offense is a mystery.

If UF finds a pulse on offense they will be a threat to beat anyone on the schedule.

Is this the year it happens? I don't know. I don't know what to think about the staff, or the new players honestly.

The schedule isn't as tough as normal. @ LSU, @ Mizzou, vs. UGA, and vs. FSU look like the toughest games and none of those teams are all that scary as of today. They all have their warts.

If the QB play is what it has been the past few years, and the OL is as bad as it could be - I say 5-7.

If the QB play is moderately improved and the OL bandaids McElwain has added this off season make the OL not a disaster, then I say 9-3.

Mcelwain is going to surprise people

Honestly, I hope your right he's been a bit underwhelming thus far and the Saban ties scare me in a Muschamp, Dooley sort of way. Hopefully he learned enough at CSU to not just try and run a Bama knock-off like Muschamp did, it'll be interesting because if he comes out and tries to use a run heavy pro style offense the fanbase is going to give him a very, very short leash as opposed to a more open passing based approach.

The really scary thing is he needs to have a huge recruiting class this year to allow for a bad season on the field but recruits seem to be going wait and see in a re-building year (last season was supposed to be the run at a SEC and possibly a national title season with an experienced stacked O-line, a quality RB and an elite Defense-- but Boom went Boom)

Guessing 8-4 on the year.

Not trolling, I think this will be a transitional year full of growing pains for Florida. They will reach contender status soon, but I'm having a hard time seeing it this year. I think McElwain will be a great coach for Florida in the long run, especially in terms of reviving the offense. That said, it's hard to win too many games in the SEC with huge losses on the line of scrimmage and questions at quarterback, something UT fans learned the hard way the first 2/3 of last year. Their secondary is great but I'm not quite sold on the front 7 just yet. UF can certainly make a bowl, but their schedule doesn't do them too many favors. I think it's important that the UF fanbase stays behind McElwain through this year, which could be better than I expect but also could be rough, because changes rarely happen overnight.

I'm predicting 5-7 (2-6) with wins over the 3 OOC teams not named FSU, Vandy, and Ole Miss in an upset because crazy things happen.

Y'all don't think UF will be the same or even a little bit better than they were last year? They had some epic fails last year that aren't typical of a well coached team. They were very close to having a much better record. 6-6 seems like the absolute floor for them next season to me.

His offense at CSU was nothing like it was at Alabama
