This will be the best Ole Miss team since the sweet sixteen squad in 2001...which might be good for 6th or 7th in the conference this year

This board really has no idea what A&M is about to put on the court. I don't see anyway we're not top 4.

This year might be the deepest this conference has been in a long, long time.

I was thinking the same thing. They clearly don’t know the kind of coach he is and how much he’s done without even coaching a game yet. The roster has been completely flipped. And his recruiting is scary good already. Lol @ people picking LSU to finish last or second to last. We’re gonna shock some people.

Bookmarked.

I'm not sure what Florida had this year, but I'm sure they are good.

I do know arkansas has a very good team and should be considered 2, or 2a behind kentucky.

Nobody knows how Wade is going to do at LSU, it is an unknown...but here is what is known about LSU...

LSU went 2-16 in league play a season ago
LSU went 10-21 overall
LSU is 29-35 overall the last two seasons
LSU is 13-23 in league play the last two seasons

I haven't seen anyone saying Wade is going to be terrible, but the league is going to be pretty good this season. It would be hard to see LSU making the NCAA tourney with such a tough league and knowing what LSU did a season ago.

Any list that doesn't have Texas A&M in the top 4 is shite.

I expect us to be better than the season we won the regular season championship.

Where would you put them? It's probably reasonable to have them anywhere between 10-14.

Having South Carolina at #12 is a joke. I know they lost Thornwell and Dozier, but to have them as the 3rd worst team in the SEC is laughable.

And Notice. And McKie. And Felder. South Carolina lost 80% of their PPG production from last season. Their 2 most productive offensive returners are Silva and Kotsar.

Combine that with the rest of the league being much better and I don't think it's crazy at all to have them #12. Who would you put them in front of? Maybe Auburn, UGA and Mississippi State? I could see that.

I don't think they will be better than Kentucky, Florida, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Alabama, Missouri, Ole Miss or Vanderbilt. I think an argument could be made after that, I guess.

Do you disagree with that?
