Seems legit, they will want to squeeze at least 2 PAC's when possible and a B1G when they can. This may be the hard year to squeeze a B1G in. Cats needed to go further their spot in the 8 so that is on them.

Yep. I have to go Virginia over them since Virginia has a better top 50 record. FSU is also rewarded for a top 10 RPI and the finish they had to their season.

When you really break down Wake Forest's schedule, it is pretty weak sauce. They drew one of the easiest in league schedules in the ACC this season.

They may not, but Im trying to put this together how the selectors always seem to. They really try to get regionals out West. I figure 4 regionals out West. 2 of them national seeds and 2 of them hosts matched up with one another.

If not Arizona, then likely another host site for the Big 12(Austin) or another host site for the ACC(Wake Forest).

Still this is the NCAA and seems pretty much every time

+1 for ACC
-1 for SEC

Tigers and Cats have been bitten by this and pretty sure I remember at least 1 year Hogs felt the NCAA bite.

Last year, no team west of Texas hosted even though Cal St. Fullerton and UC Santa Barbara had RPI's in the low 20's.

The whole "the committee loves the west" is nothing but a myth.

Besides, Oregon St., Stanford and Long Beach St. are already going to be hosts.

Arizona finished 4th in a conference that rates 5th in terms of conference RPI.

I like it Haweye, I would just throw Wake ahead of Arizona but it could go either way.

I still think they put Florida ahead of LSU due to total body of work and SOS but I think LSU at least pushed ahead of Tech to secure that 4 spot. Everything else I have the same
