There's still a handful of LSU fans here that think the 4th quarter of the game indicates how good LSU is.

I rarely see an LSU fan acknowledge that Mississippi State took their foot off the gas or that Mississippi State may have put in their backups.

So what really happened? Did Mississippi State pump the brakes and sub the backups? Or did LSU shut Mississippi State down and make a true game of it in the 4th quarter versus the same team that went up 24 points earlier?

MSU had backups in for 1 drive then decided clearly that wasnt the smart case.

They certainly helped us with the bad snap, but turnovers are part of the game.

"What if" LSU doesnt give Ole Miss the ball 4 times through 2 INT and 2 fumbles and miss a chip shot FG; we probably win by 14-17 points. Not to even mention we flat out dropped 3 INT.

Harris also played out of his mind, and that's never something we could have got out of Jennings. Harris is very talented though, and the Auburn game was unfortunately his nail in the coffin for this season IMO.

You're bringing this up now? Who cares, LSU is obviously a different team now.

MSU let up

LSU took advantage

What do we know about MSU defensively? Strong upfront, suspect to defending deep ball.

LSU made some plays down the field at the end. Doesn't matter, because MSU is clearly a much better team, even now. I'd still take them by two TDs on a neutral field.

Little bit of both. We got very careless at the end cause we figured it was in the bag. Dan also should've kicked a field goal early in the 4th but decided to go for it to burn more clock, but we got stuffed IIRC. Regardless we were and still are the better team so why does this matter all of the sudden?

Two weeks gump. You're making a case for yourself and we all know it. This thread is not about State or LSU.
State clearly was the better team. But when the game can be won on the last throw of the game, it is most certainly not domination no matter how both teams looked before they got there.

We'd win by 14+ on a neutral field.

How will it feel to lose to both Mississippi schools in the same year?

Say you're scared. Lil Nicky is.

MSU did what Ole Miss could not do in Death Valley: Take the crowd out of the game early. The fumble coming out at half time gave them a bit of life in the second half, but ultimately the damage was done.

Why is it that State let up?, yet last year LSU did not let up on Auburn according to AU fans. Who in the frick cares, both Auburn last year and LSU this year became different teams. It does happen you know? Alabama is NOT the only team that improves!!!!

No thanks. I rise early.

You guys should not try and make LSU into what they are not. Its still a bad team this year with a bad QB situation.
