Playoff Scenario - who goes?

1)LSU finishes 10 - 1 (OT loss to A&M, Fournette with 1900 yards, 20 TDS, media says Heisman locked up)
2)A&M finishes 11 - 1 (loses very badly to Ga in SECCG)
3)Ga finishes 12 - 1 (SEC Champs, loss to Bama)
If no other Power 5 teams are undefeated, would either LSU or A&M get voted into the playoff?

really inmpossible to say, the big 10 would take a huge hit if both OSU and MSU had a loss
I think SEC gets 2, nah

IF all the other P 5 champs AND Notre Dame have 2 or more losses, LSU goes

Georgia = lock
A&M over LSU. Would need other conference champs to have 2 losses.
At least that's how it should be. A&M shouldn't be penalized in this scenario for having to play an extra game while LSU sits at home

CFB Committee Mission statement
when comparing teams for rankings (ie play off spots) A team without a championship would need to be obviously better than a team with one.
Realistically the only team that can still get into the playoff this year without a championship is Notre Dame. I would expect this to continue to be true. It was a mistake with two spots to not maximize conference interaction and it will still be a mistake at 4 spots. It just isn't happening.

How does your season play out?

Georgia without a doubt. Under that scenario at least.
Whether the SEC could get a 2nd team into the playoff would be completely dependent on how the other conferences finished.

guess it really depends who the p-5 teams losses are to and when

In this scenario?
We beat Ohio State and advance to meet LSU (who winds up beating a 1 loss UCLA) in Glendale, AZ
UGA 28
LSU 27
NC & LF combine for a billion yards
game for the ages...

The SEC will never have 2 teams in again.

UGA probably goes. And that would be the right decision.
Posted on 9/29/15 at 3:36 pm to PurpleandGeauld
OSU, UGA, Utah, Notre Dame.

Either UGA or fournette are going to the playoffs.

Regional pressure is too great for anything other than conference Champions to be the default scenario.
