Does OSU get in if PSU and UW win their CC? Most true Bama fans want OSU for a revenge game but I'm not sure we get the chance.

If Penn St wins the B1G, they have to go over OSU. But OSU can still make it as a second team if other fail like Clemson and Washington
If Clemson, Washington and Bama win out along with Penn St, I think that is the 4

Wisconsin is a maybe. But they lost to tOSU in OT. So, the decision will be, do you pick a)conference champion or B) head to head

I think Ohio state getting in without winning a damn thing over a pretty worthy conference champ like wisky is a fricking joke

And the conference championship matters will get thrown out lol

Penn state has considerably worst losses. Pitt. And Michigan by five tds

Ohio State is a huge brand and would generate far more intrigue than Wisconsin or PSU. I'd be stunned if they get left out

When the 2012 BCS matchup was announced, B1G commissioner Delaney went all in on the concept that a team that didn't even play for a conference championship should not be in the NCG conversation.
Of course, a 4-team playoff is a bit different than the BCS, but using Delaney's own rationale...why should tOSU be in the top four if PSU wins the B1G championship? If Bama, Clemson, and Washington win their CCGs next week, are you gonna leave out two P5 champions? I'm sure Delaney would be consistent in his position and say no, right?
With that said, tOSU is one of the top four teams and should be in the CFP.

I am also hoping the precedent gets set for a non conference champion to get in. Its hard as hell to win the SEC. I would say that's harder to do that than winning 2 PO games. Not this year but most of the last 20 years.

Pit also beat Clemson so maybe they aren't that bad

I think Ohio state is probably a better team than Penn State so that works in their favor. I think however if Penn State wins the conference Championship and has the head-to-head Victory that's sort of trumps the one additional loss in my opinion

Ohio State should be pulling for Wisconsin to win the Big 10 title.
Penn State with a win, would be conference champions and also own the head to head win over Ohio State earlier in the season. If Penn State wins, Washington wins, and Clemson wins....Alabama, Penn State, Washington, and Clemson will be the Final Four.
If Wisconsin wins the Big Ten...then Alabama, Ohio State, Washington, and Clemson will be the Final Four

One more thing PSU has going for it. They beat the crap out of Mich St yesterday and Sparty almost beat OSU last week. That should help even out the eye test that's been putting OSU as the 2nd best team to date.

tOSU has many narrow wins, which gets overlooked.
See FSU in 14.
They started the season high, so everyone assumes they are great, but look at this: not 1, but 2 OT games, 1 more against Sparty that was heading to OT, a 4 point win over NW.

That kind of ignores the resume aside from just those games. OSU has a win on the road over Wisky and Oklahoma, home wins against Nebraska and Michigan. PSU has no other wins on their resume (will add Wisky) aside from OSU.
Add that into the additional loss and I don't see how those resumes compare. Yes I am bias but I'm trying to look at it objectively

Ohio state is extremely overrated.
It's all name. If you switched resumes and put Wisconsin on the front of the jersey no way would they get in
Ohio state isn't dominant enough to get in without even winning their division
Especially when the conference champ is very deserving

Screw that. I want the three weakest teams possible. The objective is to win, not make everyone feel good.

Don't get me wrong. I am pulling for you guys. I want to beat that arse for screwing us up in 14' lol. But, I believe the committee looks at the CC like 2 big games. I also want the precedent set for non-CC teams to get in the PO. It's harder to win the SECC most years than it is to win 2 PO games, imo. So, I hope you guys get in.
