I always admired Marcus Lattimore at USCe, David Pollack at UGA, Tebow at UF, and I really think UT's QB Dobbs is a likeable guy with a good story.

Wuerffel has proven to be a good dude. Great college player and his post-NFL career has been admirable.

Tim Tebow is a genuinely great human being.

Brandon Allen at Arkansas is a cool story, going from always losing to going out on a winning note.

As an LSU fan I admire pretty much any competent QB play

Just based off our Rivals..

from LSU: I like Tyrann Mathieu, Patrick Peterson. As people and players.

from State: No players I can think of off the top of my head, but I actually like Dan Mullin. As a coach and a person.

On the field, McFadden. In college guy was near unstoppable, off the field Tebow. I can't see where someone could honestly dislike the guy.

Todd Gurley, guy is a fricking monster and destroyed NFL defenses this past season like a fricking boss.

Ken Stabler.

The man partied so hard that he made Manziel look like a Buddhist monk in one sportswriter's words. But he still had an excellent pro career and a great career as a broadcaster, despite having severe CTE from his days playing football.

Kenny Stabler was one of the handful of people that defined the kiss my arse generation of the late 60's and 70's from the South.

Patrick Willis. One one the best linebackers to come out of the SEC that grew up in horrific conditions.

I've gotta say Gene Stallings is that in terms of coaches for me. I thought he was a good and decent man and his relationship with his son with Downs was a very touching. Seems like I remember he passed a way a few years ago.

He wasn't a tool like Mallett, Cam, McCarron, Mett, Manziel, and Bray, and at the same time wasn't shoving in everyone's face how good of a person he was like Tebow. Dude just got better every year and ended up having one of the best senior seasons in SEC history. He battled through a ton of bullshite in his 5 years. He is eventually going to land a starting NFL job; he's just too good not to. I don't care how short he is; he played behind one of the biggest offensive lines in all of football.
