I called last week to order Direct for the first time. After placing my order I asked if they would be carrying SECN. They said yes it would definitely be available before the season starts and would be part of the Xtra package.

All directv customers should call and say they are going to cancel because they don't carry the secn, they took 30 dollars off my bill for 12 months.

Will FiOS PLEASE hurry up and get on board?

I can't get U-Verse in my area. I won't go back to Time Warner because of their (bleep) service. And the one time I had satellite TV, it went out everytime a storm hit (and, of course, The Weather Channel would be the first to go).

Exactly what happened to me. I just moved to Nashville and called to get DirecTV yesterday in order to be able to watch the Saints games. I asked out of curiosity what she thought, and she said 100% they were getting it and will be part of the Xtra package I ordered

Me and you both. My dumb arse signed in February in order to get free HD and local channels. I wasn't even thinking about them not having the SEC Network. Idiot!

I got that plus a $150 credit from SAM's Club. I don't want to end up regretting a good deal.

I have experienced rain fade, but it has to be an incredibly heavy rainfall, and I don't think the picture has ever taken more than four or five minutes to return.

Over the past ten years, I probably lose reception for 15-20 minutes a year, or an average of about 1.5 minutes per month. Hell, my Charter Cable would scramble itself more frequently than that.

I got $25 off with no obligation. They seem confident they'll get it and I think they will as well or they'd be trying to hook discounts to commitment which they're not.
