It's no surprise you didn't finish watching that game to see that play, but Mett wasn't injured. He had been sacked 3 plays in a row prior to that, and your staff sent him back on the field for a 4th and 20-something, only to get sacked again. That is a gif of Mett's arse officially quitting. He got up and jogged off the field after that play.

No he didn't he limped off, and the next game against Arkansas he was finished off with a hit to the same knee.
