Fitz and Hurts are my top 2. I got to have a QB that can hurt you throwing and running. I expect these 2 guys will be the top 2 qbs in the league next year.

I'll take the qb coached by mullen. State wins 2 or 3 games a year that we would lose with just about any other sec qb. And we still don't win that many game lol.

quote:id say Allen has that as well. I know the caliber of competition was way different but he led a comeback victory in 2 of his first 3 collegiate starts against tcu and la tech and ole miss.
he's proven that when the game is on the line you want him in your huddle. That's more than any of the other SEC QBs have proven. You can't teach that.

I'd probably take Allen if I had an offensive line.
I couldn't agree more. Allen's play dropped off towards the end of the season but by then he had taken a horrible beating due to our awful pass blocking. How does the LSU O-Line look going into the season?

Think I'd go with Fitz. Dude's a baller.
Honestly, there's not really a terrible choice on that list. None are slam dunks, but all seem to have strong points.

Bentley is the best QB of the bunch by far

I'm going to give a shout out to Kentucky's Stephen Johnson.
Decent passing stats, seemed to play well when they needed him to.
Also probably the best running threat out of SEC qb's after Fitzgerald and Hurts.

Fitz fits our system. There are some good QB's there that you wouldn't want running the read-option on a regular basis. They'd get murdered.

Eason/Hurts would do well at Auburn. I'm very happy with Stidham though.

Drew Lock for Mizzou had 450yds and 5tds against EMU
He had like 350yds and 3tds vs. Georgia

I think he will have the best passing stats in the SEC next year.
Probably make a good pro qb too. But since I value rushing yards more than passing yards, personally I'd rather have a 175-200 yard a game passer that also dependably puts up 50 yards rushing, than a guy that averages 300+ yards a game passing.
Lock isn't totally immobile, but he is never going to be a guy you can look to for rushing yards. And he may buy time and avoid sacks, but he doesn't have real X-factor in extending plays.

I'll go with Danny Etling in new OC matt canada offense. Dark horse pick.
Yeah. It's a dark horse alright. That horse is Vantablack.

Stidham is the best QB in the sec already and it isn't close...
