The SEC does allow both teams to wear home colors, if both teams agree.

I'm not offended by the request, I just think it would make for some awful viewing. You have to think about things like that when your television is capable of producing colors in high definition

When Kiffin was here Tennessee offered it to Bama, but Mal Moore rejected it.

UGA/UF started doing this 2 years ago.
At first I thought it'd be awesome, but I think I kinda like the other way better. I really like our whites/their blues together, as well as our reds/their whites.
Plus it will be much tougher in a few years to look back at pictures of games and automatically tell what year it is since the jerseys are the same each time now.

I wish this would happen. We dont need approval from the office. By the way, Mal is the one who spoke on it but Saban made the call to wear white. Mal totally left it up to him.
