Don't let your Bama hatred blind you. McElroy is a good analyst.

Plus why would you rather OBC replace him and not a guy who's radio show is centered around trolling mindless rednecks?

I wouldn't want him to replace Finebaum: I'd want them on the broadcast together. Can you imagine the things Spurrier would say to him when Finebaum made some bone headed comment? The potential is mind blowing.

I have a petition for GTech to replace UGA since UGA can't carry its weight as a Big 6 team. Might as well replace them with somebody.

This would be awesome if Spurrier would do it. Finebaum just isn't entertaining to most people, let him stick with his niche radio show but take it off the air. It's as though the SECN thinks all they have to do is put Finebaum on and that's their content but most folks don't care for him at all. The trolling/redneck bit gets old really fast. He's also a Bama homer and the SEC is a lot bigger than Bama.

I love the games on the SECN but I have been very disappointed in the other content. Very little imagination really. For instance if Spurrier won't be a regular host then at least have a "Golfing with the OBC" series where he takes someone out on the course and they talk football and life, the 19th hole after a few beers would be the highlight. Do some shows about the culture of SEC towns and gameday or document roadtrips and super fans.

I'd vote for Barney the purple dinosaur to replace Finebum.

But SS on the show would just be a bunch of scowling and hangups on callers.

ETA: yall honestly think he'd listen to Phyllis or Tammy for more than 2 seconds?

As long as Finebaum is bricked behind a wall for his "retirement" I support this.
