Perspective: Ole Miss / bama / aTm

It seems odd to me that when Ole Miss beat bama, bama gave the game away with multiple turnovers and is still the best team in the SEC while when bama beat aTm, it was because of bama's defensive pressure took the ball away from aTm and bama is solidified as the best team in the SEC. Does this not seem strange to anyone else?

We suck and got lucky against Bama.......................................we know we know

two of the three pick sixes were VERY ba throws. Not sure that the defense caused those. One was a good catch by the Bama player.
Eh, teams don't overcome 4+ turnovers and win.
The turnovers happened and you just have to roll with it.

Good post, I wanted to post something similar as I had the same questions about the turnovers. But, I did not want my thread to get tossed and me get banned

Alabama threw 3 INT vs. the 4 TAMU threw, but Alabama gave ole Miss 2 fumbles... Clearly a fluke when you get fumbles. Plus 5 turnovers vs. 4 turnovers.. how can you not see the difference...

It does seem odd that Bama fans would make excuses when bad things happen to them but Bama fans celebrate when fortuitous things happen to them. I agree. Seems hypocritical.

I think the turnovers in the Bama/Ole Miss game had more to do with Coker's inexperience. I think Ole Miss put good pressure on him and that contributed to the turnovers. I think in the Bama/A&M game, it was Bama's pressure on Allen and the coverage schemes in the secondary that caused those turnovers. Allen was continually throwing the ball off balance due to the pass rush.

It's pretty obvious who the best team is now out of the three.

Didn't you know? Bama cant be beaten unless they beat themselves.

A big differentiator between good and better teams is the ability to capitalize on mistakes made by others.
As said before, two of those ints were on us completely, but Gump was able to produce points as a result.

Could you not conversely say that Allen's inexperience as a starter contributed to the turnovers? He's yet to play a full season.
Look, it all happens on the field good and bad. It's how a team can respond that makes the difference. Alabama nearly won that game and A&M never gave up.

Here's your perspective on Ole Miss, Bama and aTm: Auburn loses to all three.

+3 win by 18 >> +5 win by 6

Ole miss got 2 unforced turnovers, plus 3 uncharacteristic others, plus a lucky helmet bounce touchdown, plus an illegal touchdown, and they still only won by one score. Bama dominated A&M on the stat sheet and the score showed it. Not similar at all
