The NCAA will hit Ole Mi$$ with the following:

3 year postseason ban
50 lost scholarships over 5 years
3 years worth of recruiting restrictions
The boosters involved will have to be permanently disassociated from the program.
10 years of probation

Also, Freeze will be fired and never coach again in college football

Death penalty seems appropriate here.

3 yr post season ban
15 scholarships over 3 years
vacated wins Tunsil played in
Show clause for guilty coaches

Thats actually pretty fair for the amount of Tier 1 violations plus Tunsil on draft night.

The SEC (and ESPN) would probably privately lobby against a bowl ban, even if it meant greater scholarship or other losses. ESPN likely owns the rights to the bowl that Ole Miss would miss, thereby damaging their product. I may have an opinion proposed penalties after reading all 200+ pages now public, but without even reviewing them you know ESPN and its SEC Network peeps are all over this one. The company credit card is getting worn out in Indianapolis steak houses and locations near committee members this summer.

Hasn't ole miss pretty much been on a self imposed Bowl ban since the mid 60s?

How many schollies should a school lose if the head coach uses department money to pay his lover in violation of state law, and then obstructs justice by lying to a state investigator about the matter?
