For the second year in a row the No. 1 team was an absolute unanimous vote with the Florida Gators getting the nod to open the 2016 season in the top spot.
For as much of a slam dunk as the No. 1 team was, the support for the No. 2 Louisville Cardinals was equally concrete. Although Texas A&M wasn't as unanimous it was eventually agreed upon that they were the third best team in college baseball, followed closely by their SEC rivals Vanderbilt and Louisiana State.
ACC: 7 teams (Louisville, Virginia, Miami, NC State, Florida State, North Carolina, Notre Dame)
SEC: 6 teams (Florida, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Louisiana State, Missouri, Mississippi State)
Pac-12: 4 teams (Oregon State, California, Oregon, UCLA)
Big 12: 4 teams (Oklahoma State, Texas Christian, Oklahoma, Texas Tech)
American Athletic: 1 team (Houston)
Big South: 1 team (Coastal Carolina)
Big Ten: 1 team (Michigan)

Vandy has tons of returning and incoming talent but I expect us to be a bit over ranked in these early polls and to see the team struggle out of the gate. It's going to be harder to replace the leadership and talent of Swanson & Fulmer than many realize.
But if these guys gel together as the season goes along watch out by the end of the year.

Not that its surprising information but this should be Florida's year to win it all. Lot of pressure comes with that if you haven't been there before, Vandy/Corbin is a great example. Still can't believe how that Super Regional with Louisville went down in 2013 though you could see it coming from a mile away.

Don't bother. The L5U Tigers are the 10-time defending College Baseball Attendance National Champions. None of you have a chance.

IDK. I think Vandy is right up there with UF as the team to beat. I guess UL too. I would take any of those 3 1-2-3 in my poll.

We have a dynamite pitcher but overall the talent in Athens isn't close to what is was 8 years ago.
I really bought in on stricklin but so far he's definitely underwhelmed.

Nope. Not at all. I just like rustling their jimmies. You see, it's not enough that they should be satisfied with themselves, they have to throw it in everyone's face and expect no repercussions for their 'classy winners' syndrome.

We've had some pretty solid recruiting classes lately. Not to mention the fact that some of our best players were freshman last year.

Last year was our year to win it. We were on fire going into the tournament and ran into that hot pitcher from Virginia. Sucks but that how baseball go, to quote an old school manager.
