What the hell was up with his highlights? ESPN ripped the shite out of him.

They must have been pissed they didn't get to play their Teo montage there.

I thought the same thing. I know they were heartbroken over Teo, but there was no need for that. CP earned his draft pick give him credit.

CP is the most dynamic athlete Tennessee has had since Jamal Lewis imo.

I would not compare him to Meachem at all. Meachem was very polished in college thanks to Cutcliffe, not much room for growth beyond where he was on draft night.

Not even close to the case for CP who had no idea what he was doing last year and still set VOLS single season all-purpose yards record in only 12 games.

This is the key. From JUCO he really had no idea what he was doing. He just made plays.

Terrible comparison IMO
Only good comparable is that they both went to UT

Lol - the only similarities between Meachem and Patterson is that they were both UT receivers taken late in the first round. CP would run circles around Meachem athletically. Meachem could still be a good WR though.

that's a stretch. meach is a great athlete (4.39 40 at the combine compared to patterson's 4.42) but an average receiver; he rarely uses his hands to catch the ball and doesn't really play the game with authority. that's the difference between the two imo.

it sucks that CP is going to minnesota. he's a fantasy sleeper of mine but ponder is a black hole of mediocrity.

I think the jury's still out on Ponder. Who else is from the same class, Locker and Gabbert?

He's def better than them.

i agree. he just isn't to be trusted with my fantasy fortunes, and unfortunately that poisons the entire well for me.

i think you could argue for locker too, but gabbert is doodoo.

I think he's a top 10 talent this year. I understand the questions, but he's an incredible player.

I like Locker and Ponder. These guys just need some weapons and protection.

the titans need a lot of work but unfortunately i think the coaching will turn over again before they get competitive. i wish they were better, i'm a huge chris johnson fan. for some reason i just love that tard.

the vikes really need a productive WR to go along with CP. simpson is not a strong #2 imo but would be a quality 3. those guys plus peterson and the same improved line from last season should net an above average offense if ponder can hang.

Imo CP is not a #1 in the NFL for at least a couple years. Very strong complimentary piece and situational weapon, but Jennings is their #1 imo.

you're right, i totally forgot about jennings. vikings should be much improved if ponder is worth his salt.
