In his opinion, the NCAA's will hold off with its final findings till after the Egg Bowl. Out of concern that an announcement just prior to that game would be like pouring gas on a fire. Question to Moo St. & Black Bear fans: do you see it getting that ugly in StarkVegas for the game? Above & beyond the usual hate? Apparently the projected date is only a week or so before the game. Black Bear fans, will you show up in your usual numbers?

It's going to be ugly one way or the other. Only reason to hold off is if it's death penalty level. Otherwise, just rip the bandaid off and let them go. If not this year, it'll be bad or worse next year

With it being in Starkville this year, I wouldn't think anything would happen. Now if it were in Oxford, that's a different story. No telling what those d-bags would do.

I think it's gonna be much worse than last year. There will be fights on and off the field in abundance.

Well it's gotten out of hand in Starkville before. Don't see why not then.

Absolutely nothing will happen in the stands. There will be horror stories though about OM band members being kidnapped and sodomized and people beaten to death with cowbells because that's what OM people do when they come to Starkville. The Sunday School classes will be awash with stories that someone said they were told by someone else's uncle that went to the game that they knew a neighbor who's niece was sorority sisters with a girl that was gang raped in the junction and they still can't find her body.

But it could get pretty ugly on the field if one of our guys even senses for a microsecond that Leo or Kobe got cheap shotted.

Its the most hateful rival in the country right now. There are never many Rebs that go to Starkville, because it is Starkville during Thanksgiving, but the ones who do go will be looking to start shite so it could be bad. It is criminal if the NCAA does that though. OM is in a coaching search and needs to know their punishment before they can even consider coaches. For the NCAA to break protocol so a fire they created isn't as bad is the most ncaa shite ever.

The last brawl this rivalry had was in Starkville when Ole Miss beat your asses before the game and then won the game after. But keep talking out of your arse

No, contrary to what Ole Miss fans tells you, majority of State fans DGAF about what happens to them, nor even know what will ultimately happen. This obssesion that many have seen is fairly limited to message boards

Let the two fanbases gather in opposing endzone and then fight each other at midfield.

Id imagine something like the Braveheart fight but no kilts and instead blue jean overalls and pitchforks. Ole Miss would be swinging Boones Farms Bottles and chandeliers.

Something really trashy ... maybe using Piggly Wiggly buggies as battering rams.

And book sales and billboards. If you take out the people on facebook, twitter, message boards, you are right, those people who don't follow the sport don't care.

I don't the he's sold even 1,000 copies. Goes to show you the amount of fricks people actually give about Ole Miss.
