NCAA looking to throw book at Ole Miss in his opinion. FWIW, I don't know, but Forde pretty much on top of Freeze and Ole Miss saga.

They could have thrown the book at them a long time ago, and Ole Miss couldn't have said much about it. I think they are looking for ways not to throw the book at them and are using time as their punishment.

The NCAA is gonna wait until like August 20th to drop the hammer bc they're dicks and that's what they do

Ole mess should've followed the Agurn example (much more experienced I know), so know the NCAA gonna lay the wood.

Pat Forde is an agenda driven buffoon that makes Clay Travis and Finebaum look like Woodward and Bernstein.
Guys like Forde and Dan Wolken are doing everything they can to drive a narrative that journalists are the watchdogs of college football ethical standards. They do this in order to save their jobs knowing that 21 year olds can do what they do on a daily basis for $20K salaries. They think they found a scapegoat in Freeze and Ole Miss, unfortunately for them in reality there are many holes not only in their stories but in the NCAA's method of investigating these accusations.

OM was so blatant in their cheating

I suspect it won't be as bad as most people think.

Unfortunately for you the actual reality is not what you or any other Ole Miss buffoon thinks it is. They didn't spend all this time and money just to come up short or disallow their own witnesses at the last minute like some of you think is going to happen. Alabama learned this the hard way in 1993 and I think you all will as well.

I suspect bloodbath would be a great word to use in describing what OM has in store.
But maybe not.
But maybe not.

So blatant it took 5 years and immunity interviews with rival players who admitted they took money from multiple schools to find 38k in total alleged benefits.

The Black Bears' problem is that they are all in with supporting the HC & AD & if there is no give, the NCAA's will feel backed into a corner. And that will not be pretty. With all the legal time clock running, it's been reported that there will be a hearing in Nov., a decision by the NCAA's sometime after that, and with an anticipated appeal, this could easily run into 2018 NSD.
