I really don't understand why this hasn't already happened. Send them east. We get a more geographically reasonable division, bama still keeps it's most important rivalry game with Tennessee, and we no longer have to send our athletic teams to auburn year in and year out

It's a win on every level

You might know they were the first SEC team to ever play in Auburn.

I also know Tennessee was the next to last team that would make the trip down.

Lets be real here. The only reason you guys want out is because you are below .500 against Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, and aTm since the 1992 expansion.

UT, UF, UK, VU and SC are a much easier path to the SECCG. But UF will probably hire a decent coach sooner or later and you'll be in the same boat again.

I disagree. I think our wanting to go East is mainly driven by our desire to play Florida again on an annual basis.

You have to know things are cyclical. Bama won't be on top forever and we have certainly held our own against LSU. I don't think this is being driven by a desire to not play those teams.

AU records since 1992:

Alabama : 12-13
Arkansas: 13-11-1
LSU: 12-13
TAMU: 2-3

Your premise is false.

I'm wrong. What I said was wrong, but I will mask it by calling the record shameful.

As compared to what other teams?

We're a combined 1 game under 500 against those 4 teams. Which team on the list besides Bama is significantly better against the others?

I just want to join the east. I hate Alabama even when they're not winning.

My grandpa was found a mile or two away from his assisted care facility on a two lane road driving on his electric chair.

Every man can go out however they want.

It's an accurate statement. The record against those four teams is below .500.

The other part is just my opinion.

Something I think the Awbs either are forgetting or don't want to admit is a ton of their season ticket sales are Bama fans buying for the Iron Bowl. It was well known that Auburn wasn't selling all their tickets until the game went on campus. I'd be fine with it going to regular rotation but the State isn't going to let that happen.

bullshite. AU fans have better season ticket sales when Bama and UGA is on the home schedule compared to LSU, ARK and A&M. AU always sold out the games with TN and UF when they were on the home schedule. That is why the move makes sense to the AU PTB.

I've bought Auburn season tickets myself. 4 seats, right off the website, no wait, no donation.

I think you have your posters mixed up...

My statement still stands... AU wants to move to the East because they want an easier route to Atlanta, period.

If by improving our historical recruiting grounds in Florida you mean easier path. Then everyone agrees. If you believe 10 years from now uga, Florida and UT will have had a similar 10 year run as the past decade...then nah. Statically speaking it would be smarter for Auburn to stay in the west and wait for bama boosters Saban put in the corner to eat each other alive in the inevitable power struggle that is coming.

I have respect for Dye as a football coach, but I am not a fan of his as a spokesperson for Auburn.

It was a dumbass statement the first time and it was a dumbass statement now.

First of all, the East is not going to stay down for long. UGA, TN and UF have much more potential than A&M and Ark and have the same potential as LSU and Bama(prior to Saban). The Mississippi Schools are on the same level as USC and Ky. Everyone wants to take a snapshot and think that is what it is going to be like forever.

What did the SEC Look like 10 years ago ? 15 years ago ?
