In my lifetime, save those cheating Dye years, Alabama has ruled Auburn (even including the 0-6 Tubberville years when Alabama was recovering from its own probation), same as now, and especially in the years before the guy's birth in 1982 that he so specifically "cherry picked" (his words)

Fish on...thank you Huddie Leadbetter for being predictable.

That's a lot of cherry picking....ruled if you exclude. 1) Cheating Dye years. 2) Alabama probation for building a program on cheating. And add Bryant years because I wasn't alive.

Since Dye was hired, the series record has been 18-18. Spin it anyway you want.

And then he got busted for cheating his arse off during those years, and now, in the last 10 years, it's 7&3. Congratulations.

Yeah, and they were the other reason Auburn had success vs Alabama for a while. So Pat Dye cheated his arse off in the 1980s and later got busted for it, and then DuBose cheated and got busted, so Alabama was hit with severe penalties. On a level playing field, though, when Auburn wasn't cheating with Pat Dye or Alabama wasn't recovering from penalties for its own stupid cheating, Auburn has beaten Alabama like 8 times in my lifetime. Congratulations again.

edit: And now I'm going to work on a rental house. As noted, I think it's a good idea for Auburn to move to the East, but UF and UGA are still gonna kick that arse.

That is some fricked up logic, even for a Bama Fan.

No one forced you dipshits to hire Shula or Mike Price or Dubose.

Oh right, Alabama gets a pass for bad hires but Auburn doesn't (Barfield).

As time passes I am more happy that Clemson whipped your arrogant entitled asses last year.

Snapshot in time. What did the SEC look like in 2007, 2002 and 1997. Things are always changing in College Football. Who knows Mizzu might become a beast, so why not at least give them a chance to establish SEC roots. It hasn't happened so far.

It's fine as far as I am concerned. Would be good for Bama as it removes a tough competitor from the West and we replace it with an auto-win against Mizzou. It's good for AU I suppose as they are more aligned geographically. It really needs to help Mizzou and they need help. Despite all the shite flung around here, Mizzou isn't going anywhere. It's important to the revenue model but their program right now is a shite show. Watching a Mizzou game may be the most depressing sight in D1. They need to get some excitement again around the program.

It just boils down to the question of how do we keep intact the IB and TSIO intact if AU moves to the East and we are not going to 9 games?

Stop bringing logic and reason into a discussion about who cheats the most between two of the most historically penalized programs in the country. How dare you...

Look the 80's were a wild and wooly time...yeah Dye and AU cheated their asses off.....Dye would tell you they had to pull even with Bama and UGA in talent....but Bama wasn't clean either as we always did what we needed to....Dye was kind of like a Bryant-lite. He coached under him for years and took his manual and used it to beat Bama at our own game. You could argue AU benefitted from a lot of shitty hires at Bama but that was self-inflicted.

AU was Bama's whipping boy for previous 25 years. Dye came in and kicked some arse and AU stood up to Bama. He got the IB out of Birmingham which was huge. Between Bryant and Saban, I think AU had the lead in the IB. I hated Dye at the time but now he was one of the senior voices in the SEC. they don't really have many coaches left like him anymore. He is half-crazy but he was a hell of football coach in his day. As I said, in the playoff era, Dye would have won a title I/m/o

If by go home, you mean their traditional rivals, then yes.
And can you point to where any official at Auburn has ever suggested dropping the Iron Bowl? How about an Auburn poster here?

Nobody said it was. Just the Bammers like to play up the "Little Brother" image.
