He just got an extension through 2025. He's 66 now, so I'm going to say he doesn't stay through his contract and leaves at the latest 6 seasons from now. That would make him 72. What do the ranters think? Over/under at 6

If he wins 2 more natties within the next 6 years, I think he'll definitely be gone. He's like Lebum chasing MJ and them rings. Saban wants to outdo the bear in terms of natties.

I'd say he retires in 2025 or after two more NCs whichever comes first.

I've thought another 3-6 years, depending on our success and his mindset.

I take the over. What else is he going to do? Seems like as long as he's still breathing, he'll want to be coaching football. And I don't see Bama running him off regardless of the results. 72 isn't what it used to be. There are plenty of CEOs, congressmen, etc. that still work into their 70s

It'll all be up to his mindset. He may get like Spurrier and start to get a somewhat apathetic attitude and decide he could enjoy himself. I definitely don't think crap will hit the fan like at South Carolina.

You're right. I totally forgot about that time we fired him in 2010.

He's fit and doing a job he loves.

I can't see CNS retiring to fish or golf.

I think he could coach at least until he's 80 or even 85. Maybe 90. With medical advances, 3D printing, and endless cash; CNS may coach in perpetuity.

He has self admitted that he has ADD, he has to stay busy if he keeps winning and enjoys it, who knows how long he coaches for.
