Multiple SEC teams were in on him before he chose Notre Dame. Had an outstanding first year with them before he was kicked off. Most recently joined the UAB team and looked to be turning his life around.
He was found in his car with a passenger on Saturday morning with multiple gunshot wounds. Was in critical condition all day but died this afternoon. Horrible outcome for him and his family.

Man, every premature death is a tragedy, but there's just something about the senseless death of a person with that much potential who put that much effort into realizing his potential (natural gifts or not, you don't get to 5 stars without a lot of work learning to dothe job properly) losing it all like that. I mean, it's certainly possible he made some terrible decisions that led to this end, but that doesn't mean it's not a horrible waste of a future.

Terrible news for his family. UAB can't catch a break.

Just terrible.
The young lives that would not die if we all would just listen to momma is really staggering.
