Orgeron is a better coach than McElwain.

It's true. Orgeron beat him head-to-head, he recruits better, plus he already has a signature win over a top-10 team. McElwain's best win was against #3 Mississippi in his first year at UF using a juiced-up QB. After the Troy loss LSU has been improving. UF just continues to get worse. LSU will beat Texas A&M handily.

LSU fans should have more faith. This thread feels silly in hindsight:

I mean I doubt that.

LSU just has way better coordinators.

our coach orders extra coleslaw at cane's. I don't think he's better than many, if any coaches

Orgeron does nothing. All you're seeing is Canada and Aranda.

Come on, man. I know you're upset.
Two tough losses in a row....
But nobody should ever have to say that about their own HC, no matter had bad things look.
And I am an LSU fan.

I had a crazy thought that nutria coach knows he has a really bad team and keeps using suspensions just so he'll have that excuse later/now.

Hold on.. wait.. you dont think Saban does more than what Orgeron does? Orgeron is the worst coach in division 1 football.

Barely. He was interim head coach and still nearly pulled off the win.

Its because yall never beat LSU. Kinda like Auburn never wins in Baton Rouge.

If only you weren't a Florida fan, I would have enjoyed the pep talk a thousand times more!

Reluctantly

aTm is good enough to barely beat Florida but not good enough to beat an improved LSU team. Somehow, Florida was mostly better than aTm statistically, except where it counted the most: points scored.

Give credit where it's due. Orgeron received all of the blame for the team playing flat, so he get credit when they don't. LSU put their foot in the ground and refused to lose Saturday. Orgeron gets credit for that.

It might not be glaring just yet, but UF has a serious issue with the ever-increasing talent gap. Both in the SEC and against the other Florida schools. The recruiting has been on a decline ever since McElwain got there.
