I think the list was a little too biased toward coaches who coached before 1960. Someone like Bobby Bowden should have been ranked a lot higher IMO.

Saban should be ranked ahead of Bear. He's been far more dominant in a more competitive era.

Other than that, I might switch Tom Osborne with Fielding Yost. And I might switch Hayes and Stagg.

Gene Stallings is underrated on that list. He's minimum a Top 30 cfb coach of all time imho.

I agree about the bias. Plus, I would say Bo Schembechler (#20) is too high. On this list, I don't see how you get in the top 20 without at least 1 MNC.

Slocum at #100 might be a bit generous, but he was absolutely a defensive genius, and did win a few conference titles.

Agree, particularly Thomas. If there is a bias against pre-AP football, which would be understandable, then I can see them this low. But if that's the case, why is Rockne so high? Or Yost or Stagg? I think the list has most of the right names, but the order seems to be based on very inconsistent criteria.
