How was this not ruled a fumble, even after review?
If this had happened in a big game that mattered, the game might have been protested.

Do you have a link? I was too busy watching any other game

Missouri vs. Vandy?? I hope this game isn't the CBS 3:30 feature game

I saw that fumble you are referencing. It's ridiculous it wasn't considered a fumble. The VANDY fan I asked about it said that they considered forward progress stopped.
Complete bullshite.

You'll have to provide the video. No one watched that game.

That was a fumble.
Who won that game? Anyone know?

It's as bad of a call as you will ever witness. Vandy sent in a formal complaint easily could have cost the game.

Wow. How on earth could they have called that forward progress? They made that terrible call, and that screwed them into confirming it because of shitty review rules

I love the fact that they reviewed the call (according to SBnation) even though forward progress is not reviewable, and STILL confirmed the call.

It's kinda like, we fricked up, we gotta do something. The rules won't let us fix the frick up but let's try to see if we can anyways. Nope? frick.

One of the worst calls I've ever seen.
And you probably can't tell from the angle showed on SB Nation, but it was an absolutely crushing hit. Dude got rocked and the defender put his helmet right on the ball. It was a perfect form hit.
The ref who made that call shouldn't be able to work a game the rest of the year.

Definitely a fumble. Honestly can't believe they didn't change it after the review.

SEC officials suck in good games for the Big 6 teams. I can't imagine the of suckage for the refs that get assigned to watch Vandy beat Mizzu.

Mason was livid on the sidelines (as livid as he gets, at least).
Again, if that happened in a bigger game, it would be talked about nationally for days.

Well since reviewing forward progress is not allowed, believe it.

Yeah...but they did review it....which makes it even weirder.

It's funny that they still went through the process though
I bet it played out just as Genro described
