College football teams, like countries, have no friends or allies, only interests.

That being said I started to pull for NC State after our recent series with them in 08/09, them and Arkansas.

I'm all sec all the time. I want every sec team to crush every opponent except when they play lsu.

pretty close to home there for you. not much danger of that with Washington. :)

Nah. I only genuinely pull for Alabama. I only find myself cheering for other teams in certain situations, but it is more because I want the team they are playing to lose.

I think there are several Aggies on here who now pull for Texas Tech because we love seeing texas and baylol lose.

We've only played three times in the last twenty years and won't be playing them for at least the next ten so it doesn't really bother me. They're also in the same division as FSU and Clemson so I can root for them in those games.

Maybe Arizona State...We had a kick-arse trip to Tempe in 2008. Great fans & the scenery is awesome if you're from the S.E & haven't visited that part of the USA....

Michigan State even though we murdered them in the Capital One Bowl, and not a foe but a team I pull for Stanford.

I used to really hate Notre Dame, but I went to South Bend a few summers ago and I really developed a profound respect for their program. It's a really special place for college football

ETA: I'm going to Penn State next year, so them too. I always liked them though

We have a great rivalry between NC State about which program is historically more futile.

Afer the last home and home I think we lead the series 28-27 and some ties.

Not exactly the same thing but I paid extra attention to Roethlisberger after we played Miami OH in 02

This.

I also have pulled for Oregon the last few years but that is more because one of my good buddies from HS was a 2 year starter for them than the fact that we won a natty against them. Now that he graduated this year I doubt I'll care much about them anymore.

CFBdatawarehouse has us at 27-26-4.

LINK

eta: Your link doesn't have 2 games that CFBDW says happened in 1900 (that we won), it also doesn't have the games from 1904 and 1905, however CFBDW has us playing 56 games, a big difference from 50 that your link has.

If it benefits LSU (or harms bama ) then I will pull for them. I rooted for Oregon after LSU beat them in '11 and I rooted for TCU last season because them being good would help out LSU. I will probably root for wisconsin to win the BIG (assuming LSU beats them) next season.
