Imagine the fallout and shite most of you jealous Saban haters would be bitching about if this same situation took place in football. But it's baseball so no one cares when coaches oversign and are forced to run kids off to make room for the newcomers.

John Cohen, while a great coach, is worse than anyone in the SEC about this so I'm not picking on LSU and Mainieri.

I know Cohen does it but how do you know he is the worst in the SEC about it?

O'Neal Lochridge has back problems and is taking a year off. He would likely be a starter next year without injuries you fricking idiot.

I love it when people talk out of their arse on subjects they have no remote clue about.

Love it.

Why not just redshirt then?

Cause they need to make room on the roster.

He was one of our better hitters at the beginning of the year had he not gotten hurt. He literally broke his back and is currently in a torso cast.

I follow SEC Baseball. I know how many he brings in the fall and what happens to many of them.

Oneal Lockridge may never play baseball again due to a recurring back problem. It amazes me how stupid some posters can be as reflected in the OP.

Are you serious? He got hurt and is not going to heal in time for next year.

And in reality if anyone was taking up space on the roster and being hurt it was Jake Latz. But hmmmm let see oh that's right he wasn't cut either.

Dumb gump with not knowing how it works. GTFO

There's supposed to be a fallout for a player potentially recieving a medical redshirt? Please enlighten us on what this fallout is supposed to look like...

I'm not discounting the possibility he is back on the roster in 2018.

And I'm not implying he's not really injured to be clear.

Just pointing out how stuff works the next time some douche here starts crying about someone oversigning. Most everyone does it.

thanks for pointing it out. you did a great job comparing a sport with 85 scholarships to one with 11.7 and comparing cutting healthy players to having a player with a broken back who may never play the sport again take a medical redshirt.

I think we can all agree that tom haverford has really shed some light on the oversigning subject.

So who all ends up a LSU-Eunie or Delgado next year? Or NOVA Southeastern? Trey Dawson? Brody Wofford? Nick Bush? Jake Latz? 2-3 signees?
