April 27, 2015: Student athlete spent 18 days on his teammates girlfriend's couch after being evicted from his apartment. This was considered a benefit and the student athlete had to repay $270. Violation uncovered during interview with NCAA enforcement staff.
3 year investigation and this is one of the things they uncovered

When is Florida going to be penalized for played a QB loaded with PEDs?

18 days and the school didn't know?
Sounds like LOIC to me.

How can the NCAA look at someone with a straight face and tell them that is a benefit? Wow

I agree. I'm not saying that Ole Miss didn't give impermissible benefits to players but the "violation" in the OP is ridiculous and sounds like the NCAA was grasping for anything

You should clarify that is one of the reported incidents the university released, it isn't in the NOA.

I knew an Ole Miss player that got kicked off for grades. He was a DE/LB and 2012 would have been his senior year. So at least Freeze wasn't skirting every rule.

a free place to stay the night? Y'all fricked, our players actually paid, just a discounted long term rate, and we got probation and scholarship reduction.

Watch there be 12 violations like the OP then there is 1 where a player signed a damn contract with a booster for payments. That would be the ultimate WAOM moment

The "girlfriend" was a hooker that Ole Miss hired
Right?
Right?

Need pics of girlfriend to determine seriousness of violation and justification for considering this to be "impermissible benefit."

Nice try. This is NOT one of the violations in the NOA. Keep swinging slick.
