I mean the numbers speak for themselves.

He did it against defenses in the West as well. So, who should we be laughing at if you're suggesting he's shite for a QB?

3rd most passing yard in a single season qualifies as "prolific."
Posted on 4/4/16 at 3:13 pm to Pinche Cabron
3rd most yards in a single season. Only the 11th player to throw for 30+ TDs.
You're looking pretty stupid right now....

I didn't suggest he was shite for a QB
I am saying it is hyperbole to call him one of the most prolific in SEC history based on one season

Most of those are 3-4 years starters. Not really an accurate comparison.

He's not even the most prolific at his own school

Not if he has only been in the SEC for one season. It would be a different story if he had been starting for 3 or 2 years.
He had one of the most prolific seasons as a passer in SEC history.

He has more yards and TDs than any Ole Miss QB in a single season.
Just abandon the thread please.

He just scored again on y'all....

What were his stats in SEC only? I remember Ole Miss scored like 60+ in their first two scrub games I think

Single season stats =/= three to four years careers
Posted on 4/4/16 at 3:18 pm to RB10
Cam Newton only played one season, I'd put him in that list.
Kelly had one of the best passing seasons in SEC history. I don't have a problem with it.

That is not what they said. Didn't say "one of the most prolific in a single season."

He had one of the most prolific passing seasons in SEC history in his only season so far. I think it is fair to call him one of the most prolific passers. You are reaching to make a big deal out of that characterization in my opinion. They didn't call him one of the best, just one of the most prolific.
