Sound like something sudden and not a long term illness. News reports say "passed away unexpectedly" and no foul play suspected.

He always did a great job and will not be truly replaced. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.

The guy was always professional. I truly enjoyed his work. I wish the upcoming generation of broadcasters had that same level of professionalism.

Lots of sports talking heads are into the whole shock-jock, click bait type of reporting; Saunders had dignity and was a great one.
