Anyone else hearing that rumor? I’ve heard they may receive the sanctions within the next three weeks, but as early as next week.

Also hearing will not be as bad as feared up OM and as hoped by State.

Wouldn't it make more sense for them to do this in January?

ETA: I mean after Thanksgiving. Lole miss isn't going to a bowl.

No one outside of the COI would have that information

All OM fan sites continue to report that penalties will be handed down after 11/25.

So yeah, probably next week

The NCAA could give them a 5 year death penalty, and this statement would be true. Ole Miss is going to spin, spin, spin, and State fans are going to say that it's not enough.

Not really. I heard one year self-imposed ban. I’ve long heard 25 scholly reduction and that remains true.

That's incorrect. Nothing will be released before late November, at the earliest. And it will be ugly.

North Carolina is supposed to get their verdict tomorrow. Their case was heard a few weeks before OM, so someone is just guessing.

It is a reasonable assumption, but in the end that's all it is.

We need to sell dates like squares for the Super Bowl, and have a board where we get to guess the sanctions.

Winner gets 4 OM season tickets.

Don't think they will come out until after OM--MSU game.

Gimme $100 on 12/8/17.

2 year bowl ban; reduction of 25 scholarships.

24 hours on the public pillory post and 2 years of wearing the scarlet letters "SEC" for Bjork and Freeze

The only way that the information could be out is if the COI already made their ruling. They are supposed to let the school know first then release it to the public. So they could have already told Ole Miss and now Ole Miss is leaking the info.

By the way I don't believe they have made a ruling yet. That was just a theory of mine.

The rulings are supposed to come down 6-8 weeks after the COI meetings. They met on 9/11. That means 10/23 would be the 6 week mark.

Only reason they don't add another year is to take away the players who were paid ability to transfer out. Make them suffer through it.

Are these the same voices you heard back when Mack was getting fired by Texas and Saban was getting courted by the Texas oil tycoons?
