Serious thread here.
Most honest Rebel fans admit that each football season begins without any hope of their team reaching the SEC championship game, and that they truly only care about their Super (Egg) Bowl against State. With that being said, here is my question:
Do you think losing 4 of the last 5 Egg bowls is really where you think your program is at or is it really worse than that?

My #1 concern is winning the SEC West as soon as possible.

The Egg Bowl is more important for the instate Ole Miss fans. As an out-of-stater, it doesn't rustle my jimmies as hard if we lose it. However, we can't get to ATL without winning the Egg, so it's obviously an important game.

8-4 is the goal.. Anything better is gravy.
I'm sorry no one other than 4* OL want to make the drive up those god awful pig trails and play football on that mountain for your morbidly obese coach.

State is clearly proving to be the best program in Mississippi on the national scene. State has a chance to make another trip to Atlanta this year, OM not so much.

Kind of proving my point, OM will settle for a average 8 win season and the Egg bowl trophy, appreciate the honesty.

We've had some bad years thanks to an incompetent AD. Bjork is doing all he can to right the ship and it's already evident.

You asked "What are my thoughts ?" I told you.. I didn't see the part where I mentioned MSU in my post.
The last time Arkansas won an SEC football game my wife was 8 months pregnant with my little girl.. Me and my 20 month old daughter are watching Sesame Street right now.
