The Upset thread prompt me to ask

Break it down, I tend to think Ole Miss take the W here although everyone keeps saying FSU is loaded.

How can om take the w if they won't even be fielding a team

Didn't FSU lose a ton of playmakers?

Freeze will resign in July, along with most of the Athletic Department. The actual Death Penalty won't come until Nov or Dec. But by then it will just be semantics.

We'll travel to the game and all that, but we won't really be there. Half our starters will be ineligible, or will transfer.

Take FSU and give up as many points as you have to.

Don't mind FSU being favored but that early spread is ridiculous. It shouldn't be surprising either way no matter who wins. I think Rebs pass d versus Noles pass o is the key. Winner of that battle likely to win. Barring a huge turnover discrepancy either way.

In all seriousness, I think this is a very good matchup. Ole Miss hasn't played a game of this magnitude against a non-con opponent. Boise State and Texas are the closest that come to mind. Because of our offensive balance I like our chances but who knows with the game in Florida it could be a tough game.

Do those turnovers count or does that mean FSU beat themselves?

Just depends if Ole Miss can stop the best running back in the country Dalvin Cook. FSU has SEC West caliber talent and depth. I like FSU in this game 31-24.

To me, its a game of quarterbacks. Florida State's running game won't be any better than LSU or Alabama's last year. To me, I think the game boils down to quarterback play - is FSU's enough for them to be two dimensional? Does Ole Miss's left tackle give Kelly time to make plays against FSU's good defensive ends? Can Swag Kelly start hot like he ended last year?

I think the answer to the game lies somewhere in there.

Lol. What? You literally had a defensive player running the ball for you several times last year. Not because he was any good as a RB, but rather because you had no other viable options.

Have you been practicing your "Bounce the ball off the player's head right to your WR" play?

If you think this then you obviously didn't pay much attention to any team other than LSU. Thus after your team & fans quit in Oxford, you didn't see Judd & Wilkins come on strong late.

I feel like FSU is overrated and we are underrated. No idea if we will win though

I think it's primarily because FSU is more talented at almost every position AND they have a better coaching staff.

Houston beat FSU pretty handily. Given FSUs starting QB situation, I think they are highl overrated this year. I see 3-4 losses for the Noles.
