Ole Miss v LSU

Yesterday I attended an Ole Miss game with some friends(I know..). Tailgating experience was tremendous fun. I decided not tell anyone I was a LSU fan even though my friends knew. I wore a white shirt. Under the radar. No reason to create trouble. We sat in the student section and there were two 16 year old kids wearing LSU hats. The fans behind me started heckling them and threatening them. Eventually they went down and ripped the hats off the kids. Before long I had moved my girlfriend out of the way for fear of a fight.
Of course, the OM fans started throwing punches and I tried to break it up. One took a swing at me and he went flying down the bleachers. All in all, it was about 10 fans beating up two boys. I tried my best to get everyone off and succeeded for the most part. Really felt bad for the boys. They were beat to hell. Really irritated me that people take it that far. I understand there's a hatred between the two, but those idiots weren't even alive when the real rivalry started between the two schools. The best they can do is spout 27-24. Anyway. I hope LSU beats the hell out of Ole Miss this year. Not cool. And more importantly, this is just a game. There's no reason to resort to a gang style beating of people over it.

I was there and I didn't see any shite like that happen. The only fight I saw was between a few dumb arse freshmen because someone poured a drink on somebody

We were in section 7 right next to the band. Happened about 7 minutes into the 3rd quarter. Also a girl got pushed down the bleachers and smashed her head. She was okay. Inconsequential. No one intentionally hit her.

I really don't understand this. I like OM. I attended the university for awhile before the military moved me. I'm not saying it's all fans. LSU fans are just as big of idiots. Trust me. I'm just telling the story the way it is. Sorry you don't believe me.

Ole Miss fans are the worst.
Was at the game last year, and some guy who was married and pretend not be gay (looked almost like Shepard Smith) try to start shite talking my girlfriend, telling her women don't know anything about football.
It is a good thing I turned around and he shut up. I'm a big guy, my older brother is a big guy, and my father is even bigger (played NT in college).
However, what didn't help was my little brother who was an Ole Miss fan and is now a freshman at Ole Miss screaming "I want to fight" in the lsu section with a LSU fan right in front of him who looked like he was fresh out of prison with his tattooed fu manchu.

I'd have to disagree with the worst... Every university has their fair share of shitheads. As a whole we are a pretty inviting group

Well, that's your opinion. Others have said we have some of the best in the conference. It probably encourages some of our fans to act assholes when y'all's whole section chants "suck that tiger dick, bitch". Trash attracts trash

In the SEC west, I give yall the nod.
Maybe it was because yall hate LSU so much, so the entire day people seemed a little standoffish. But after yall won, I have never witnessed such assholes. Not like Auburn in 2010, where they talked a little shite afterwards, then you could still have fun with them at bars.

I think OM has a great fan base - for the most part. Everyone in the Grove is so inviting. You can pretty much just walk around and talk to anyone and have a great time. There are a select few from every fanbase who just want to ruin it all.

I can't remember who we were playing, but we had some other SEC school's student in our section, and we gave him hell. During oh we oh, about 200 people in his radius would turn around and point straight at him when we said suck.
He loved the attention though. And nobody was threatening him either. But we also won, so normally our fan base acts much nicer after a win.
