Ole Miss should be ecstatic to have Freeze

I've seen some grumblings on here and heard pretty much the same rhetoric from some OM friends about Freeze's coaching. From wanting to get rid of him altogether to demoting him to offensive coordinator, I can't believe my ears.

He's the best they'll ever get to Oxford. No, he's not a top tier coach, but he's consistent and recruits well. He'll get 8 or 9 wins a lot of years with a few 6 wins seasons which is nothing to hang your hat on.

Don't throw in the towel yet on CHF just yet. Mullen went 6-6 just before breaking through with a 10 win season.

Be happy with what you have and be very careful what you ask for. You've found a good coach that got his dream job and won't use this opportunity as a stepping stone and there is nothing wrong with that.
