A: "oh yea. The 2014 Chick Fil A Peach Bowl. That was a hell of a year for Ole Miss. The high water mark of the Hugh Freeze era. Our first and only NYE6 bowl game. Every Ole Miss fan can tell you what Applebee's or Chili's they were at for that game. The entire country stopped to tune into Ole Miss football that day. That team was really stacked that year.
Remember Nkemdiche? He might have flopped in the pros but he owned the SEC that year with like 2 sacks. Sick!!BNo Wallace was our QB. He was the best QB in the SEC that year. He just won a Grey Cup with the Montreal Allouettes as their back up QB. He sure priced all of his doubters wrong.
Anywho, I was in the Port Gibson, MS Applebee's, crushing the 2 for $20 menu, when Ole Miss was raped by TCU. The program went downhill after that, but man were we on one hell,of a tear for a while. Good times."

Missed this earlier. Probably the funniest thing i've read in awhile. Until the TA7 thing at the end, it was just rambling at that point. I give the concept a 10, and the execution 7.5

I commend you guys for not doing the same. It's actually as embarrassing as the "final four" shite at the CWS.....I guess if that's the closest you will every come to a real final four or a major Bowl game, then so be it. They fricking lost FOUR games this past year. It just blows me away with the arrogance.....on top of that, I think TCU just scored again. It's going to be a very tough year for them imho. In their minds they think they are now elite SEC....and the truth is I can easily see them finishing last in the West with just a little tough luck.

for the life of me I couldn't see why this happened. Anyone with any logic knew his game wasn't going to translate into the NFL. LSU exposed how to play him, and I'm pretty sure the better athletes of the NFL could easily pull that off. It's the same with the Oregon QB, imo, and all the others like them. I know this much, as a Saints fan I didn't want either of them.

They went from 2-10 to playing in a major bowl in 3 years. Why wouldn't they be excited?

Please stop with the major bowl crap. They played in the peach bowl....say whatever you want but they lost FOUR games this past year...FOUR. LSU, BAMA, Auburn, Florida and Georgia all consider that bad years (yes I know Florida is struggling)....at Ole Miss apparently losing 4 games is elite...I'm going to enjoy the Melt this year for sure. I've never seen a less accomplished program have fans that talk as much shite as Ole Miss. Literally, in most of their lifetimes, very few have ever seen Ole Miss win a major championship in anything.....and in football, probably over 70% of the fanbase has never seen a national championship.

For the record, I'm pretty butthurt we lost 4 games. It should have been no more than 2.
