I see they're 5-0 and the game is in Memphis. I still think Ole Miss rolls them, but it could be an interesting game if they come out flat.

For OM, this game is a no win situation. Memphis is good, but if they win everyone will shake their shoulders and say "it was only Memphis." If they lose..........

Think the Rebs win but Memphis is a good squad. 9.5 points is a lot to lay on. I'd stay away.

Disagree. Anyone who follows college football knows that Memphis would be a very good win this year.

Ole Miss is the only true rival Memphis State has. Because they are a basketball school, they have rarely had a good football program or team. Justin Fuente is a good coach and has them playing well in a weak conference. But beating Ole Miss would be like winning the Super Bowl for them. Victories over Ole Miss have been rare with OM leading the series 44 to 10. Ole Miss and Tennessee are the only two teams that help them fill up the Liberty Bowl. The key to this game will be how well Ole Miss plays defense and slows down Paxton Lynch.

Memphis has won 12 straight football games, is ranked 22nd in the Coaches Poll, and has a NFL caliber QB. They are a good football team.

I personally think it is easy money because Memphis has had to basically outscore teams this season and won't be able to do that against Ole Miss.

Saves the .5 to 1 million to play in Oxford and gets them to play us in basketball in our new arena.

I do too. I would be a little concerned with the line though.

Didn't OM just win a game a couple weeks ago under similar circumstances?

does Vegas account for the fact that they'll be more Ole Miss fans when they call this a "road game"

I fully anticipate a shootout. Don't sleep on Memphis's offense. They'll be one of the best we've faced this season and our defense has been hot garbage up to this point. Their defense is similarly horrible, though.

I hope I'm wrong and we roll to an easy W, but I feel like this will be a high-scoring, close game.

Ole Miss plays at Memphis a decent amount, correct? Anyways, Memphis played them really tough last season and they are 5-0. Ole Miss "should" win, but it'll be a close game for the most part.

Ole Miss - 37
Memphis - 24

I think we will win but Memphis is a definite threat. Capable of beating a lot of SEC teams if the game goes their way.

Eli, nor Peyton for that matter, could ever beat Memphis in their college careers. Can Machine Gun Kelly get them over the hump?

Sorry. Eli was able to muster 1, for a 1-1 record
