We play better in Oxford. The 2009 LSU team was easily one of the worst 3 teams of the past 13 seasons.
Historically speaking, The Rebs have a way of just 'getting up' for games in Tiger Stadium.

We are NOT your rival. Quit acting like we are.

Man some of you LSU fans are ornery. Why do you pretend this game doesn't matter? You more than likely will struggle against us. Prepare your anus.

I think it will be a field goal type of difference in scire

Yeah, it is the only rivalry off the top of my that the respected teams typically play better away than at home.

LSU by 10ish. Our offense will be ridiculous next year and if we get Cameron, prepare yourself...

Since 1982 LSU and Alabama are both 4-11 at home against each other. In that same time frame LSU is 10-6 at home vs Ole Miss, and 10-5 at Ole Miss.
just fyi.

It will be closer. It is always close. Ya'll get 19 starters back, a pretty favorable schedule, and a top-10 recruiting class on the way.
When the game rolls around, it'll be to the point no one will be surprised if Ole Miss wins. You are at home, and this is damn young LSU team. Now could easily see LSU winning, but it is going to be a really close one. If LSU loses, well we played 16 freshmen this season, have a top-8 class coming in, and in 2014 Louisiana will be, on paper, the best it's ever been since the recruiting services started. And the top-2 players in Texas have Knemdiche-like ties with LSU..and we have the top player in Mississippi signed.
So it'll suck if Ole Miss brings home that ugly arse trophy we play for, but LSU isn't going anywhere

I like our chances but it's in Oxford and OM always plays LSU tough except for BeBe's tenure.
To go one step further, I think the SEC West competition is absolutely off the charts. Top to Bottom this division is outright sick and I'm including MSU because of Mullen. BAMA is still the elite, no doubt, but top to bottom, "Any Given Saturday"...

I mean, it came down to the wire last year. I expect more of the same next year, with my gut saying Ole Miss narrowly pulls out a victory.

Soooo the opposite of what you say

I would otherwise be worried about this game, however, Miles got a number of young FR and SO's significant and valuable playing time this past season.

Ole Miss could have easily won the 2012 game. Their team is supposed to be better this year and LSU is losing a bunch of guys so I think it will be a close game again.
this pretty much says it all

Too early to really have much of an idea but I expect it to be a tight game. If the Rebels have a presentable record after their early schedule, LSU better come ready to play. I'm going with history though and saying LSU pulls a win out of their arse.

LSU will be better next year.
Our defensive stars didn't perform like they should have last year and our entire offense is coming back with the addition of a couple big depp threat WRs. Hopefully we will have Cam Cameron calling the plays as well. Our secondary and LB's will be very, very good (better than last year) as well and the dline at LSU just reloads at this point.
LSU by 10.
ETA:
although I have been saying that is an LSU loss next year in Oxford. I just feel like betting on LSU today because OMLandshark is in this thread. Will be a good game.

"Yeah, it is the only rivalry off the top of my that the respected teams typically play better away than at home"
UGA and Auburn went back and forth with alternating road wins quite often from the 1970s up until the mid-2000s.
Saban helped instill a mentality of 'playing 4 quarters' and helped put some of these recent close calls from the Rebs in TS in our favor.
In the 70s, 80s, and 90s, a number of LSU teams were inexplicably embarassed by inferior Rebel squads in Tiger Stadium.

Another thing about Ole Miss is they will not sneak up on anyone anymore. People are going to be very wary of them after today and this past season. I think just about every West opponent underestimated Freeze last year. Won't happen again.

Ole Miss will be at best 2 - 4 when LSU rolls into Oxford.
LSU will have MUCH more to play for in this game.
Tough, but comfortable win for the Tigers against a dejectet team on the slide.
