In your honest opinion will the game be closer than 35-41, or not?

If you believe it will be closer explain why, I'm interested in hearing opinions, I always enjoy watching this rivalry.

Ditto if you think it will not be closer.

I think it will take at least a year if not more for some if not all of our new recruits to put on the weight and get accustomed to the speed of the SEC.

I think the game will be within somewhere within the range of 14 points one way or the other.

Why is ole miss so worried about the LSU game? Just because you have a hyped up class doesn't translate to wins in this league.

If Cam Cameron is hired, LSU by 21.

If no, LSU by 14.

LSU owns real estate in the Grove.

The MSU vs. LSU game will be closer.

I mean, it came down to the wire last year. I expect more of the same next year, with my gut saying Ole Miss narrowly pulls out a victory.

Except for when we are kneeling the ball with five minutes left, this game is always just about a toss-up in most of recent memory. This year will not be any different.

Personally I think it would be foolish to not be concerned about a future opponent. "Ole Miss" is not worrying about LSU, nor am I. I Love the competition, I love the atmosphere of that particular rivalry. Ole Miss played tough this past season. I will admit going into the LSU I thought we would lose by 21+. But it didn't turn out that way. It was a wonderful game and I was curious as to what fans of both teams thought about the future of this rivalry.

I have given my opinion, I wouldn't mind to hear yours, truly.

Not sure I would agree with this, but certainly a valid observation.

some are putting way too much stock into last years game.

half of LSUs team had already checked out on the season and that game was a microcosm of Eric Reid's sub par season. He let bo wallace and Moncrief both juke him out on 60 yard Td plays. LSU wasn't interested and still won. I think it'll be close but LSUs offense will easily be better than last years and we'll win a good game.

You do realize you haven't beat LSU this century, right, almost all of which have been blowouts. God, have you ever considered standup?

Some are ready to play now. Others will need time. That being said, LSU will win by more than 6 points.

Just because.

Ole Miss could have easily won the 2012 game. Their team is supposed to be better this year and LSU is losing a bunch of guys so I think it will be a close game again.

It's before the Bama game this year, so I'm going with a comfortable LSU victory.

The game last season was great, but there is no denying that the season was effectively over for LSU at that point. As long as LSU splits UF and UGA they'll still have everything to play for, and the mentality of the team will be much different.

exactly. hyped recruits don't pan out all the time.

I'm not going to answer this because I still don't know how LSU is gonna look, but if I had to bet now, I'd bet LSU winning by 10
