Elsewhere, while Commissioner Greg Sankey stressed the SEC --- all 14 teams --- had been off probation since last August, marking the first time the league had no athletic program on probation since 1984, only the most optimistic believe that streak is likely to remain intact when the NCAA moves forward, particularly against Ole Miss. Indications are investigations have zeroed in on two individuals, one in the Ole Miss athletics department, and one who is not an Ole Miss employee. Nonetheless, there were pervasive whispers this week in Destin that the Rebels absolutely could face a postseason ban.

Hubbs is pretty conservative with the info he puts out. If he's saying there were whispers about a post-season ban then those whispers must've been really loud. I wonder what the hell is going on. Who has the NCAA zeroed in on in the AD?
