I'd say the '99 season was better. Finished 10-2, which is better than 10-3, and won the Peach bowl against Clemson that year.

Congrats, you still lost to Notre Dame?

That would bother me if I cared much for bowl games outside of the big ones.

Miss St's best team in forever lost to Georgia freaking Tech, and Ole Miss's best team since God knows, got crushed by TCU. So still, why are you on a hang up about Notre Dame?

Is a team that has had 4 consecutive losses against LSU getting into this arguement? We've beaten you with 3 different QBs and all of them usually suck

Frick it's painful when you put it that way

But Chavis handed you all 4 of those victories and he's ours now

Chris Guilliot was quoted as saying he really wanted to fly back to UCLA & pull for the black bears, but he had a prior committment at The Box. No doubt his absence out there played some role.

Oh really? Ever seen what LSU's record is in BCS games? What's A&M's record in "Big Games" Oh wait, you've never played in one.

ETA forgot you made it in 98 to the Sugar but of course you lost.

But like everything at LSU, next man up. Miles hired Pelini and Chavis before Steele so he knows what he's doing when it comes to defense. Think about it, the DCs, DB coaches, and DL coaches have changed since Miles has been here, yet he still puts out top draft picks and top 15 defenses yearly.
