All Georgia has to do is the opposite of Kiffen in the first half. Just run the damn ball and Georgia can win.

we will find out Saturday if UGA is a team that plays down to its competition or just a bad team

expectations are that Ole Miss wins running away; hopefully, we shut them down

very excited to see this game...

Rushing yards there are the key. We didn't get beat on third and long in the air. We got beat because those are some badass dual threat QBs who extended the play and got outside our linemen.

Eason is good and he might complete some passes but he's not as dangerous as Hurts. If it's a QB dual Eason isn't in the same universe as Kelly.

Question- why didn't Shea Patterson get in the game against Wofford?

Umm red shirting? Why burn a year of eligibility performing mop up duty 2-3 times a year?

Oh didn't know he redshirted. Probably a smart move. Who is behind Kelly?

Well, this should be fun. If you're going strictly by experience, you may have a point. Raw talent? I'd say it's an even fight, at worst. If our receivers learn to catch, you could be in for a long night.

Eason has thrown 1 touch pass in his life, that 4th down. Everything else he throws is a fastball. It's not his receivers, he just has no touch. He might learn it but I doubt it will be this week at practice

You actually have to play SOME defense in this league to win big. Defense is optional for the Rebs, so they start the season 1-2.

You redshirt after the season. Patterson will dress and be the backup (unless it is a blowout). But they won't play him unless they need too.

So you've watched the highlights? The kid has thrown the balls the way they needed to be thrown based on the windows available. He didn't get ranked where he was coming out of high school not knowing how to put touch on a ball. Maybe you should check THOSE highlights. What you're seeing now is him learning new receivers. This will actually be his first week taking all the first team reps in practice.

He won't be perfect, no. But he'll be far more capable than you're giving him credit for. I can only hope your coaches approach it the way you are.

I'm much more concerned with Eason than I was Hurts. Alabama is a much better team than Georgia. However, Eason is light years better than Hurts. So we could very easily be 0-3 against freshman. Will not be easy.

If Ole Miss tested for anything I'd take this seriously but Gas Mask Tunsil, and the Deep South Marley Brothers Bob and Denzel somehow only missed time when one of them got ratted out by jealous/abusive step dad.
