As someone who isn't affiliated with OM athletics in any way whatsoever, I was just able to go online and purchase 2 season tickets (in a season with 4 premier home games including the egg bowl) without making a contribution.

Were you assigned seats or are they TBD?

They gave me the option of sideline or endzone. So IDK the actual seats.

But that's beside the point entirely. The point is that I haven't contributed a single dollar to OM athletics yet I'm about to be in possession of 2 season tickets this season.

If you call UGA, bama, or any other major school, that's literally impossible. Like, it can't happen unless you feel like starting off your contribution at 10 grand or something.

If you want, I can call the UGA ticket office and pretend to be a random joe who's never called before and ask if I get can get season tickets and record what they say.

The point is you didn't buy any tickets. You put down an $800 deposit in case they have any available once season ticket orders are filled and new ticket requests from members in whatever their "club" is called. Then you'll have to pay the donation due on the tickets to get them if you still want what's available. I'm sure they appreciate your interest free loan.

I'd like to see a first timer call auburn and try to get the full home game package on the sideline for 400 bucks.

It wouldn't happen.

Well since Auburn season tickets alone(sans donation) are more than that...

Nope it wouldn't. Wouldn't happen at Tennessee either. Not even close. IF you can actually purchase the tickets, you're donating a minimum $2,500 per seat. And no, parking is not included.

Thanks ole miss for being so 3rd rate that any random joe off the street can turn a profit at your expense :)
The 2 people who will be sitting in the seats I purchased will be paying me directly, not ole miss. And they'll be paying me more than they would your school lol.

Yeah, it is not going to work out like that. Seriously though, thanks for the support. Behind that anger and hate you have, you are good people.

Not only does my receipt say "ALL SALES FINAL", leading me to believe I've concluded this transaction, but my credit card has already been charged. Compare that to my UGA season ticket purchase which was made a month ago, which still has not posted (since they're waiting to see where everyone's contributions fall).

Also why would the website give me the option of choosing to contribute or not (I did not) if they were going to make it mandatory later in the process?

Anger and hate

Where have I displayed hatred? Or anger? I'm just trying to buy for a nickel and sell for a dime, strictly about money here.

I'm already guaranteed 4 lower level tickets to the game this year so I'm not really concerned about whether I'll have a ticket or not.

For some reason, when I read this post, this image came to mind:
