Ole Miss Fan Logic

So there are three Ole Miss homers at my gym and all have come to the same conclusion. They are now pimping Bama as unbeatable, whom they did beat. While at the same time they aren't putting any stock into the LSU win over Florida, saying that Florida is overrated, a team that shut them down completely. I guess their delusion towards LSU overrides normal logic.

Why aren't they ranting on about locker room and coaching issues????? 
Scoring 76 against terrible teams and we are the best in the world.
Start losing games and there are locker room and coaching issues...

Lol oh they've completely written off the team and Mr. Freeze, they were talking NC after the Bama victory, now they've gone to step two of the normal mid season Ole Piss meltdown, which is to pimp Bama in hopes they beat LSU

some ole miss fans are reasonable and realize they have some major issues right now. They are hopeful to salvage the season though....
then you have some that think they are the second best team in the league, and by virtue of their win over Alabama, that they have a real shot at Atlanta still....despite getting blown out by both florida and Memphis...and despite not having an OL or a running game, and also having a defense that went from landsharks to landflounders. For it is swag they trust.
You have another section that thinks they are in deep trouble, and there are a lot of problems beneath the surface, not just the ones that are showing up on the field. This would probably be the most accurate group. Fwiw, the strong rumor is that Patterson is wavering bigtime......they would probably be better off without this diva. JMO.

They pimp bama and say LSU can't beat bama....because afterall, Ole Miss beat bama....so in their minds, that makes them better than LSU.
On the same note...they completely dismiss the fact that Florida absolutely exposed their weaknesses..while LSU, if not for special teams breakdowns, would have beaten Florida by minimum 17 points.
The truth is that they were extremely fortunate they beat bama. How many teams even have a chance to win when they turn the ball over FIVE times, plus give up a fluke ill-advised td pass that could have easily been a pick 6. I even had rational Ole Miss fans tell me after the game that the best team won that game.

LSU barely beat Florida at home, but both teams looked good to me. LSU's use of the pass vastly increased my belief in them being a national contender.
I really hope LSU beats Alabama but I fear they won't. A&M is the wildcard, they are not designed to beat LSU, but they could beat Ole Miss. If they don't, I'm expecting a 3 way tie between LSU Ole Miss and Alabama, which will once again send Alabama to Atlanta.

Florida is over rated but not by a lot. They are a top 25 team in my opinion. But the point is you needed a fake field goal to win the game against a team that should have lost to UT and maybe UK.
