You had stayed with David Cutcliffe? If you knew what you know now? Cutcliffe or Freeze?

Freeze and it's not close. Freeze is an offensive coach, but has repeatedly stated that a strong defense will be his focus as the Rebel head coach.

Cutcliffe got lazy on the recruiting trail and you can't do that and consistently win in the SEC West.

Heads up, you're really close to 25,000 posts.

I'd like a comprehensive babe thread on the RebBear Rant, please

I agree Freeze is solid and better at this time. It is amazing what Cutcliffe is doing at Duke though? Just curious how most feel about Freeze.

We like freeze.

A thread asking if we wish we had kept Cutcliffe has been done a thousand times. Sorry we don't want to discuss it any more.

Cutcliffe was a terrible recruiter and inherently lazy. Freeze is neither of those. Discussion ova

Freeze, Cutcliffe can't recruit and was far too loyal to terrible assistants that couldn't recruit either. He is perfect for Duke though and I wish him all the best.

Cut is a good coach, Freeze is a better recruiter, but not as good a coach as an X and O guy.

Always thought The Lord was sparing David's life with the firing.

Just a theory.

He had a heart attack after he was free of the stress of being coach that might have killed him, otherwise.

I like Cut, but I'm happy where we are now. I don't think Cut would have us in this position had he stayed, but we would have also avoided several horrible years that we had if he had stayed. I wish him all the best. Nice guy
