I'm cool with them getting the got dang black bear mascot off of the field and replacing it with a Landshark.

I'm not advocating for Colonel Reb, brah.
There are, maybe, five Louisiana black bears in the entire Magnolia State.
There are about 50 Landsharks, however.
It has no tie to our state or institution. A Landshark, however, has significant ties to the institution's beloved football program.

i honestly don't care if it's a bear, shark, fake-west championship banner, or whatever they want to make it next..it's for the kids...why any adult has such a strong opinion on it is beyond me. go pay your bills and help a stranger or something shite

Only if done in conjunction with saving Colonel Reb by re-branding him Colonel Sanders and licensing him from Yum Brands. He should be returned to the sidelines.

The only reason Colonel Reb was removed in the first place was political correctness and that is an issue, no matter your thoughts on the matter.
