So I am most likely going to college at Ole Miss. Going to visit March 23rd. What are the must-do's for when I'm down there? Gonna be there all weekend

And yes I know I had a similar thread already but now that I have an official visit, I wanted to make another one

If you are 18 then you can get into The Library, The Levee, The Corner, and Taylor's Pub on the square. Best places to eat IMO are Ajax, Taylor Grocery, Old Venice, Philip's Grocery, Bouré, Rooster's and Big Bad Breakfast on North Lamar.

There's Rooster's, Funky's, Irie, Burgundy Room, Frank and Marlie's, and a couple of others but they are all 21 and up.

Are they strict about the 21 and up?

I always scratch my head when LSU fans/LA kids go to Ole Miss, but it seems to be an outstanding social scene and everyone I know who went there thoroughly enjoyed their time... just don't return to LA as a douche

Yeah, they are pretty strict about it. The Library is where the most people will be anyway so you'll be alright.

Libury Club and Rock Star Taxi. They will send you to Parchman for drinking and driving. Enjoy your time there...we always do.

Leaving baton rouge to go to Ole Miss was one of the best decisions I ever made. LSU is like high school all over again for locals

Go to The Blind Pig on a Tuesday night and check out the comedy night. You can get in under 21 if you show up before 9 and just stick around. Show starts at around 9:30. Always a great time and my favorite place to do comedy.

Also, check out Laff Co improv group. Just plugging them because they are awesome guys. $5 gets you a great show, drinks and all the pudding you can eat.

And once you turn 21 hit up Frank and Marlee's on a thursday for fricked up karaoke. Crazy mix of cool people, the douchiest people ever, and people getting fall down drunk. If someone is fricking up a song really bad you can just go downstairs to the other bar and hang there. Good scene. I think you'll enjoy your time there.

I spent most of my time at The Library when I visited and it was a pretty cool bar. I definitely enjoyed Oxford Enjoy those college trips and check out the social scene wherever you go, you learn a lot about each respective student body by doing so

You know Ole Miss makes most guys into douches. More so than even LSU does
