With Ole Miss coming off a BYE week, and Arkansas licking their wounds after a pounding by Alabama, this year's matchup is poised to be another shootout. Like last year, I think both offenses will have a field day with their counterparts. Expect Austin Allen and Chad Kelly to sling the ball all around the yard until one of the defenses steps up to the challenge.

Don't expect Arkansas to put much pressure on Chad Kelly, as their defensive line has been very underwhelming so far this season. Their DBs will be exposed to the loaded arsenal called the Ole Miss WR corps. Expect Chad Kelly to get a few designed runs to keep Arkansas' defense honest.

Ole Miss will need to step up on defense to contain Austin Allen's gunslinging style. I see Arkansas using Jeremy Sprinkle to create mismatches against Ole Miss' defense and then pound against the Rebels' front with their physical running backs. Arkansas can also throw it around with their experienced receiving corps featuring Dominique Reed, Drew Morgan, Keon Hatcher, and Jared Cornelius.

Arkansas will come into this game hungry to repeat the last two years' performances. Getting 3 in a row vs Ole Miss would boost the confidence of the program as a whole.

Ole Miss will want revenge after last year's 4th and 25 debacle which ruined any chance that the Rebels could reach Atlanta.

It will be a very interesting game. I don't see Arkansas falling apart like Georgia did against Ole Miss. I think Arkansas will compete for three quarters until Ole Miss' defensive line steps up to slow down Austin Allen and the Hogs.

31-45 Rebels.

Literally just typed everything myself except the Arkansas player names.

Arkansas is staring down the barrel of a 6-6 season. The players, coaching staff, and administration need a glimmer of hope.

Has Ole Miss's secondary stepped up at all? I see they're still giving up 330 a game through the air and I remember them being hurt and getting worked by FSU in the 2nd half. Any chance they slow down AA?

I doubt it. They'll need to get pressure to stop him. That's why Arkansas will need to keep everything balanced and threaten every inch of the field with their WR corps.

Arky is awful everywhere except QB and WR, but OM's weakness is defending the pass. I expect OM to get to the QB in a little less, but similar way to how Bama did. Arky will score some points on big pass plays, but OM will control the line of scrimmage and win by multiple scores.

It is a big game for the Hogs and Ole Miss. The winner will keep their hopes alive for a strong finish. I think the Hogs rebound from the Bama loss with a close win.

Folks, the SEC is brutal.

Don't forget TE!

I don't think our RBs are bad if they could ever get decent blocking. This is a bad conference to have a struggling OL in.

They have progressed slightly. We are starting 3 true freshman and a sophomore in our seconday, So very young and experienced and make a lot of mistakes. Getting better with each game though.

Ole Miss finna eat like Bert at Golden Corral.

Fortunately for Arkansas this is a football game. If this was a basketball game at the Pavilion West, Ole Miss would win by 25.

If Allen learns to scramble like Hurts this week we will lose but if he isn't mobile we will get to him like everyone else. The strongest position on our defense is the D-Line.

Oh yeah and take the Rebs to cover whatever the 1st half line is. Free money.
