So sad that a twisted individual from out of state can cause so much pain for our city. But this incident will not define us.

Why are all the crazies from Missouri

A lot of us in Baton Rouge know the victim's families. One of the dead officers was my football coach's son. A ton of guys on this board, probably dozens, played for him. The irony of a guy devoting himself to helping kids having his own kid ripped from him by a racist murdering black separatist driving in from out of state with a mission to kill cops has laid me pretty low tonight.

You going to talk any shite about him being a Marine?

Done.
Praying for the victims, families and all those who live in the great city of Baton Rouge.

Youth league. Elementary and middle school kids. BREC, sponsored by Police Athletic Team-River Oaks Bengals-1970's and 1980's-won multiple City Championships. Half the OT played for them-there have been multiple threads over the years with guys chiming in. They are generally revered by former players.

Sorry, when it hits someone you have alliances with, it just seems to hurt more. I'm waiting to hear the names (we are retired in AR) to determine if I know any. Played ball with several officers during my life there.
The narrative has been set for many years by the some in our country. God help us.

An issue like this belongs to the whole country. But knowing the family of the dead makes it a little more sad than normal. God help this land of confusion and decay.

Louisiana has their fair share of murderers, GNBB. This isn't a matter of state vs state, but good vs evil.

This definitely didn't help

I like Fournette, and he seems like he's a great guy, but anybody wearing that shirt can go frick himself.

I'm pretty sure every Marine I know, current and former, completely disavow this person's status as a "Marine" since this heinous incident.
Don't go starting crap where there doesn't need to be crap started.
