Much weaker slate of games this week than last:

LSU @ South Carolina

South Carolina is clearly terrible and LSU should win. However you gotta figure South Carolina is still better than Eastern Michigan and Syracuse, two teams LSU inexplicably had trouble putting away. Road games in the SEC can always be tricky too. Still hard to see LSU not winning.

Georgia @ Tennessee

Despite getting drilled and being on the road, you gotta like UGA. Spirits at UT gotta be at an all time low. Plus, UGA is still very much alive in the East race, UT not so much. UGA still controls their own destiny, as their loss was against a West team. UGA's QB situation gives UT a chance. UT has also played UGA hard the last few years despite being outmanned.

Arkansas @ Alabama

Hard to see this not being a massacre. Arkansas likes running the ball, Alabama really good at stopping the run. The only chance Arkansas has is if Alabama has some sort of emotional hangover from the UGA game, and combines that with a redux of the Ole Miss performance, turning the ball over a lot.

Florida @ Missouri

Florida is much better than they have been coming off their best played game in 6 seasons, Missouri is pretty awful, no reason UF shouldn't win here. UF has struggled on offense in their games before Ole Miss though, so if they regress who knows. A loss effectively eliminates Missouri from the East.

As for non-conference games....

Oklahoma @ Texas
Miami @ FSU

Remember growing up how these games were always a really big deal between two top 10 teams with national title implications?

Cal @ Utah

Two ranked, undefeated teams. Utah can pick up another 'quality' win.

Northwestern @ Michigan

Two ranked teams. Since an opening game loss to Utah, Michigan has been quietly playing very well.

Michigan has a loss, hence they are no longer undefeated.

This could easily be argued. LSU wins easily.

Arkansas @ Alabama will not be a massacre.

Alabama doesn't run the type of offense that gives Rob Smith fits. This will be a 4-5 point game.

Not only that, but Enos' offense is anything but run first, second, third, and pass only when you have too.

Not sure it is regressing as much as coming back down to earth. Grier cannot continue at his current pace since the 4th quarter of the vol game.

LSU should win by 14 but they haven't been able to dominate cup cakes like they should , so who know.

I thought UT would have a chance against UGA before but now I am not so sure. They don't seem to run the ball enough. UGA by 7.

UF wins a close one. They seem to be the better team but they are young and on the road.

BAMA wins big . Should be around a 14-21 point win. BAMA should match up good with Arkansas but last year they tried to give the game away.

I'm sorry man. It's not going to be 4-5 point spread.

Its not just Grier though. Thats the thing.

The ENTIRE offense flipped a switch in the 4th Q vs. Tennessee and they've been on fire ever since.

OL, TEs, WRs, RBs, Grier... everything is clicking for UF right now.
